We are proud to endorse Liuba Grechen Shirley in CD2.

Liuba is a fierce advocate for women and families who is running not as a connected establishment candidate, but because she genuinely cares about her community.  We know that WHEN she is elected, she will fight for families, for universal healthcare, campaign finance reform, the DREAM Act, fair environmental policies, and more.

Although we are based in Brooklyn, many of our members have family ties to Long Island and care deeply about this race. We’re eager to get on the train and help Liuba win on November 6th!

We are excited to announce our endorsement of Democrat Max Rose for New York’s eleventh congressional district. Max is a combat veteran with experience in both healthcare and government. When he addressed our membership, we appreciated his focus on campaign finance reform, voting reforms and support for our unions as well as his experience in tackling substance & opioid abuse. Above all, we believe that Max has the energy, drive and commitment to see this race through, whether that means successfully defeating GOP primary challenger Michael Grimm or incumbent Representative Dan Donovan.

Indivisible Nation BK proudly announces our endorsement of Andrew Gounardes for New York State Senate in Southern Brooklyn (District 22). Andrew is fighting to ensure full funding for public education, to revamp the MTA and public infrastructure in Brooklyn, keep pedestrians safe in our neighborhoods, create jobs and keep housing affordable. He is running against the only Republican State Senator in Brooklyn. As a result, his race is central to Democratic efforts to take the majority in the State Senate. Without a majority in the Senate, imperative progressive legislation like the codification of “Roe v. Wade” can never come to fruition in New York. By electing Andrew in our own backyard in Brooklyn and flipping the district, we can protect millions of women and working people throughout the State. Join us!
